My political blogging days are almost at an end. A month from tomorrow, other then my happiness or disgust (depending on who wins), I will have no more to say about politics (well the election politics anyway =) ). I watched the debate last night and was encouraged. I thought Sarah did an excellent job for an outsider, and although she did not blow Joe out of the water (like I was hoping), she still came across as intelligent and very capable... oh wait! that's because SHE IS!
I was sad that the Gaffe Master Biden didn't do something stupid... I was really hoping for that! but all in all I thought the debate was at least interesting. And for those of you who were paying attention, my biggest beef was that Biden said that Obama said that he would meet with terrorist leaders without pre-conditions. I thought Sarah was charming and sincere. She was knowledgeable if not experienced. She held true to her core beliefs and connected with people. I thought she was amazing...
...there you go again Joe...reaching into the past...we need a vision for the future and that is what John McCain is going to bring!
